1991 demo

Nothing Lasts Forever
I'm So Close
If You Need Somebody
City Of Dreams
Voodoo Man

Actually, the band had no name at all when this demo was put together. All the songs were recorded on an 8-track recorder with programmed drum and percussion parts.

The album versions of Nothing Lasts Forever and (I'm) So Close are pretty close to the way they are on the demo.

If You Need Somebody was scrapped except for the main verse riff which turned into the main riff for Guajira.

City Of Dreams, or an early version of it, was a song Roy had played with both Royal Flush (then titled Back On The Streets) and Driver; it was never part of the Tribe repertoire.

Finally, Voodoo Man was re-cut and re-titled Vodou Man by Robbyn Garcia's new band, Last Temptation, for their self-titled 1997 debut album, with Roy providing lead guitar.
